Camp Rules

Because Wakatomika Christian Service Camp is a youth camp program & ministry, it’s important to act & dress as Christians, following the example of Jesus Christ. All of the camp rules apply to campers, staff, & visitors.

  • All campers & visitors must report directly & immediately to the Dean upon arrival to secure permission. The dean may ask anyone to leave at any time for any reason. No one is to interfere with camp programs & everyone must follow both the camp schedule & the camp rules.
  • Campers are not permitted to leave the premises without permission from the dean.
  • During camp, no non-staff camping is permitted & guests must leave after campfire. They may not spend the night.
  • Obscene, vulgar, or sexually suggestive language or gestures are not allowed.
  • One camper should not go off alone. Follow the rule of threes.
  • Campers are not permitted in the kitchen. After 11:00 p.m., no admittance in the cafeteria is permitted without permission of the dean.
  • Campers must park their cars & give the keys to the dean. Vehicles may only be driven by camp staff who are licensed drivers (over 14 for off-road vehicles).
  • Campers & their parents should check out with the dean before leaving the grounds.
  • Parents are responsible for notifying the dean in writing if someone other than the parent or emergency contact will be picking up the camper.
  • The dean is responsible for making the final call if a camper needs to go home for violations of camp rules.
